Day 1: Welcome to Masai Mara National Reserve

Your safari adventure begins today, and we’re just as thrilled as you are! Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, one of our friendly team members will greet you and brief you on your journey ahead.

Scenic Road Transfer to Masai Mara

After your briefing, enjoy a scenic drive through Kenya’s beautiful landscapes as we head towards Mara Serena Safari Lodge, your home for the night, located inside the breathtaking Mara Triangle.

Check-in & Lunch

Upon arrival and check-in at the lodge (approx. 9:30–10:00 AM), take a moment to relax and enjoy a delicious lunch as you soak in the stunning views of the savannah.

Afternoon Game Drive

From 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM, embark on your first game drive through the iconic Masai Mara. Get ready for close encounters with:

  • Lions, Elephants, and Buffaloes

  • Zebras, Giraffes, Wildebeests, and Impalas

  • Cheetahs and Leopards (with a special cheetah-tracking experience on foot)

  • Rhinos in the Mara Triangle

  • Over 500 bird species, perfect for birdwatching enthusiasts

This is one of the best safari destinations in all of Africa, with vast savannahs and classic flat-topped acacia trees creating postcard-perfect scenery.

Evening Wind Down

After the game drive:

  • Return to the lodge for rest and relaxation (6:00–8:00 PM)

  • Enjoy the warmth of a traditional campfire

  • Dine under the stars with a hearty dinner from 8:00–10:00 PM

Day 2

Day 2: Sunrise Adventures & Evening Safari Magic – Masai Mara

Wake up to a new day in the wild! The Masai Mara is full of wonders, and today is packed with memorable moments — from misty morning drives to golden-hour sightings.

Early Morning Game Drive (6:00 AM – 10:00 AM)

Start your day with a sunrise safari, when the air is cool and the light is magical. Wildlife is most active during this time, and the landscapes are stunning.

Expect to spot:

  • Wildebeests, Zebras, Elephants, Buffaloes, and Giraffes

  • Lions and Leopards during active early hours

  • Beautiful birdlife and golden sunrise scenes perfect for photography

You’ll also enjoy a classic bush breakfast in the heart of the savannah — safely set up in a scenic, predator-free location.

Optional: Hot-Air Balloon Safari

Soar above the Mara in a sunrise hot-air balloon safari (6:00–10:00 AM, optional add-on). This is a once-in-a-lifetime experience that gives you sweeping aerial views of the plains and the wildlife below — a photographer’s dream.

Mid-Morning Game Drive (10:00 AM – 1:00 PM)

Continue your adventure with more game viewing opportunities. The Masai Mara never disappoints, and each turn might reveal something new.

Afternoon Break & Leisure (1:00 PM – 4:00 PM)

Return to Mara Serena Safari Lodge for lunch and relaxation. Refresh yourself with a spa treatment or simply unwind before your evening adventure.

Evening Game Drive (4:00 PM – 6:00 PM)

As the heat of the day fades, predators start moving. This is the perfect time to:

  • Track lions and leopards on the hunt

  • Spot hyenas emerging from their dens

  • Enjoy cooler temperatures and golden light for stunning wildlife photos

  • Join another cheetah tracking excursion on foot for those eager to explore further

Evening at the Lodge (6:00 PM onwards)

After an action-packed day:

  • Share stories by the campfire

  • Sit down for a warm dinner under the stars (8:00–10:00 PM)

Morning at Mara Serena Safari Lodge (7:00 AM – 8:00 AM)

  • Start your day with a hearty breakfast at the lodge.

  • Prepare for departure and check out from Mara Serena Safari Lodge.

Cultural Visit to a Maasai Village (8:00 AM – 11:00 AM)

Before leaving the Masai Mara, you’ll visit an authentic Maasai village, where you’ll:

  • Learn about traditional Maasai customs and daily life

  • Enjoy cultural dances, songs, and crafts

  • Gain a deeper appreciation of Kenya’s indigenous heritage

Scenic Drive to Nairobi (11:00 AM – 3:00 PM)

Take in the final sights of the Kenyan countryside as we transfer you by road back to Nairobi. Along the way, enjoy a relaxing lunch stop en route.

End of Tour (4:00 PM)

Your safari ends on arrival in Nairobi. While we say goodbye for now, we trust your heart is full of memories — and we hope to host you again on your next adventure.
